BELIEF

As a loyal Anglican church, Our Lady of the Lake upholds the faith and order of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Christ.
We look to the scriptures as the unalterable standard of revealed truth.
We hold fast to the orthodox teaching of the Church throughout the ages, attested to in her Creeds and Councils.
We acknowledge the apostolic ministry of Bishop, Priest and Deacon and the celebration of the two dominical sacraments (Baptism and the Eucharist) as necessary for salvation, along with those five others which have been universally accepted by the Church.
We affirm that the message of the Gospel applies to all people, at all times and in all places and pray for the grace to play our part in Christ’s command to “go out and make disciples of all nation” (Matt. 28:19-20).

"We have no doctrine of our own, we only possess the Catholic doctrine of the Catholic Church enshrined in the Creeds of the Church, and those Creeds we hold without addition or dimunition."
